During the week of October 19–25, 2025, SelectCam AI conducted a strategic visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant step in the company's ongoing engagement with the Middle East fleet technology ecosystem.
Led by CEO Dylan Xu and Middle East Lead Bruce Li, the visit focused on in-person meetings with regional fleet management providers, system integrators, and technology partners. SelectCam AI presented its AI-powered video telematics portfolio, including the DC10 4G AI dashcam and the M8 AI-powered MDVR, both designed for extreme heat environments, rugged commercial operations, and AI-first fleet safety applications.
Throughout the visit, SelectCam AI reinforced its core product philosophy: developing fewer, more focused hardware models shaped by real-world fleet requirements. Direct discussions with local partners highlighted the importance of listening, validating, and refining products based on actual operational use cases rather than standardized manufacturing assumptions. The team emphasized that effective localization extends beyond language, requiring a deep understanding of regional workflows, operating conditions, and regulatory frameworks.
The trip also held historical significance. SelectCam AI reflected on its early contributions to the Middle East video telematics market, including the introduction of one of the region's first Driver Fatigue and Distraction Monitoring systems in 2017. This milestone was achieved in collaboration with Advance Telematics Solutions and long-standing ecosystem partners such as Aidriving, Galileosky, Gurtam, and key system integration contributors. Reconnecting with partners after nearly a decade underscored the long-term value of trusted relationships and sustained collaboration.
In addition, SelectCam AI engaged in in-depth discussions with the Uffizio Middle East team on deep hardware–software integration and the role of AI-powered video intelligence in next-generation fleet management. These exchanges reinforced SelectCam AI's belief that meaningful intelligence is realized only through tight integration between robust hardware and advanced software platforms.
Through this Middle East visit, SelectCam AI strengthened regional partnerships, reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the market, and laid the foundation for future collaboration. The company remains focused on delivering reliable, AI-driven video telematics solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational visibility for commercial fleets across the Middle East and worldwide.
